The Spiritual Immateriality: “After reading the works of Kandinsky, Concerning the Spiritual in Art, I started to consider the immaterial and spiritual in nature. I enjoy the contrast between the choice of narrative within the composition of landscapes and the abstracted spiritual depiction as it poses the question of the spiritual and material being able to coexist, a notion which extends from my research into theosophical and theological belief systems surrounding nature. These belief systems  propose that mystical insight can be achieved through experiencing the divine of nature  which reveals how material representation can be symbolic of the spiritual.”
